Ngurah Rai airport fast track for families is an escorted arrival or departure service at Bali’s DPS airport: staff meet your group, keep children, strollers and bags together through immigration, baggage reclaim and customs, then walk everyone to the car. Priced per person, with the Essential, VIP and VVIP tiers quoted on request.
Every official check still applies to every family member, babies included. What changes is the logistics: instead of one parent juggling passports, a toddler and a trolley, an escort handles the route, the pace and the handover to your driver.
Bali Premium Trip is an independent concierge operating at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Tuban, not the airport operator or an immigration authority. Services are arranged via vetted partners where not owned directly.
What does fast track actually do for a family at DPS?
Landing with children at Ngurah Rai tends to strain in five places: the airbridge walk after a night flight, a stroller returned somewhere unexpected, the immigration hall queue, a belt carrying six bags, and the crowd outside arrivals.
| Pinch point | What the escort does | What stays with the family |
|---|---|---|
| Airbridge / arrival gate | Meets the group by name, counts heads, walks at the pace of the smallest child | Collect a gate-checked stroller if the airline returns it at the aircraft door |
| Immigration hall | Guides everyone to the fast track lane and keeps the family in one line | Each traveller presents their own passport and eVOA where required; e-gate eligibility is set by immigration |
| Baggage reclaim | Reclaim help on every tier; porter handling on VIP and VVIP | Point out your bags and special items |
| Customs | Guidance through the declaration and exit | Answer officer questions and declare goods |
| Kerb | Walks the family to the car; vehicle transfer is included on VIP and VVIP | Confirm child seat needs at booking |
On departure the order reverses. Staff meet you at the international departures drop-off, help with check-in and bag drop, then escort the group to passport control and security, which remain mandatory, before the lounge or gate.
Which tier fits your family size?
All three tiers are priced per person, and 2026 tier materials describe the rates as inclusive of taxes and service charges. Child and infant handling is quoted on request, so the final family figure comes from the concierge rather than a calculator.
| Family profile | Suggested tier | How the quote is built | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Couple with a baby or toddler, light luggage | Essential | Adults quoted per person on request; infant handling on request | Personal escort, customs guidance and reclaim help cover the stress points |
| Family of four with checked bags and a stroller | VIP | Adults quoted per person on request; children on request | Airbridge meet, porter, lounge where arranged, car transfer, flight monitoring |
| Five or six travellers including grandparents | VIP | Adults quoted per person on request; children on request | Porter and vehicle carry the load; wheelchairs are booked through the airline |
| Multi-generation party wanting discreet handling both ways | VVIP | Adults quoted per person on request; children on request | Arrival and departure, round-trip luxury car, personal concierge, Bali SIM card |
Essential does not include lounge access or a vehicle transfer by default, so families with several checked bags usually start at VIP.
What documents should each child carry?
Pack this checklist once per child, not once per family. Entry rules are informational here and can change, so verify them on the official portals before you fly.
- Own passport for every child, infants included, valid for at least six months from the arrival date.
- eVOA, if the child’s nationality needs one. Each traveller applies and pays on the official Indonesian Immigration portal. A parent’s eVOA does not cover a child, and fast track does not waive the fee.
- Bali tourism levy for foreign visitors, collected through the official Love Bali channel since February 2024 and separate from the eVOA. Check the channel for how it applies to children.
- Onward or return ticket showing every family member.
- Arrival or customs declaration currently required by Indonesian authorities, completed on the official portal before landing.
- Carried by many families, not a stated DPS rule: a consent letter when one parent travels alone with a child, and a birth certificate copy where surnames differ.
How do we keep kids, strollers and car seats together?
Details sent in advance make the airbridge-to-car walk calmer:
- Strollers.Tell the concierge if yours is gate-checked. Depending on the airline, it comes back at the aircraft door or on the belt, and the escort plans the route around that.
- Car seats.Request a child seat when booking and ask for confirmation. Do not assume one will be in the vehicle.
- Feeding and changing breaks.Ask the escort to pause before joining the fast track lane. On departure, VIP lounge access where arranged gives a quieter place to settle a baby.
- Wheelchairs.Book them through the airline. The concierge adds the escort and porter.
- One lead contact.Nominate a single adult on WhatsApp so the escort has one number for updates.
- Late and early flights.Night arrivals are common at DPS. Confirm staffing for these when you book.
When should families book?
Book as soon as flights are fixed. Demand at DPS peaks in the mid-year holidays (July and August), Australian school holidays, Chinese New Year and the December to January season, and availability is subject to season. On VIP and VVIP, flight monitoring adjusts the meeting time if your flight is delayed, according to 2026 tier materials.
How does booking work?
- Send your flight.Flight number, date, and whether you need arrival, departure or both.
- List every traveller.Passport names, passenger count and the age of each child.
- Describe the luggage.Bag count plus special items: strollers, car seats, surfboards, wheelchair needs.
- Pick a tier and pickup area.Name your hotel or villa area; the concierge confirms the per-person quote, including child and infant handling.
- Receive meeting details. On the day, staff meet you at the airbridge for arrivals or the international departures drop-off for departures.
